The Redmond Centre sits at an important and very visible site beside the lake and the children's playground.
But does it provide the facilities you need?
Does it provide the facilities that an estate like ours needs? What are those facilities?
Do you know what facilities it provides?
We (The Park Collection Residents' Association PARKRA) think these are fair questions for a Residents' Association to ask. But the answers must come from the residents, i.e. you.
In order to discover how we set about asking these questions, and what we get in the way of answers, and to be able to add your comments to this blog please do sign up to the website and receive our future newsletters.
The centre is run by the Manor House Development Trust.
The following paragraph has been provided by staff at the centre:
Did you know that the Redmond Centre contains a council run library? You can order books to borrow as well as find novels and childrens' books there. It's open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only from 10am to 6pm. In addition to yoga classes etc, you can also rent meeting rooms at the Redmond Centre and film viewings will resume there once Covid restrictions allow. If you haven't ever been into the Centre, we encourage you to wander in and have a look around while it's still quiet in there.
