I know a lot of people run to keep fit, as well as to prepare for competition.
There are two very fine clubs with running as a theme based in nearby Finsbury Park
For info, there are two clubs that you could join, both based at Finsbury Park Track and Gym:
- Dynamic Sports Academy are an athlete development club based at Finsbury Park Track and Gym who run sessions every Mon/Wed/Fri 6-8pm. They develop athletes through strength, speed, performance vision, sport psychology, & nutritional training.
Following a demand for people wanting to use the track DSA have now started a new Running Club membership (alongside their usual program of training). So while they are training athletes in the facility, others can come in and utilise areas of the track that are not being used.
The inside lanes will be kept free for those wanting to do laps, as DSA focus on short distance speed work (you are welcome to join in on the track sessions also).
DSA Running Club membership is as follows
PAYG per session - £10
Monthly membership - £60 (can attend as many Mon/Wed/Fri sessions as you wish)

adrian@dynamicsportsacademy.com - London Heathside is a club based at the Finsbury Park track covering Track & Field Athletics, Cross-Country, Road Running, Triathlon and Fell Running. They have coached sessions on Tuesday and Thursday 5-9pm, and Saturday and Sunday mornings with groups for sprinters, middle distance, up to marathon and beyond, as well as the full range of field events. The club has an active junior section, a large senior membership and specialised training for veterans.
