Park Collection Planning , Development and WDCO Forum
The Woodberry Down development is very important to Hackney and to Berkely Homes, and underlying all their thinking about it is the claim that they take the opinion of residents past, present and future, local and from nearby, into account when making planning proposals.
One of the means they use to gather opinions is Commonplace, an online set of questions and answers. The Woodberyy Down Commonplace on pahse 4 is still live. I've picked out one of its sections on Movement
This section has had a pretty good response, 245 comments at present. While the format does tend to drive responses down a particular path there is scope for free form answers.
I'm sure you have a view on how movement should take place around the estate. Two very popular views at present are i) that the number of motor vehicles should be reduced and by contrast ii) that it should be much easier to get about by car.
There will come a point when Berkeley Homes will put in a planning application, and Hackney will approve it. Then it will be too late to have an opinion, the die will have been cast.
So, if you want to have a say take your chance now.
The main Commonplace is here and there are five subsections on Living, Landscape, Amenities, Movement and Culture.
For what its worth the image below was my two ha'porth on Movement
And in another thread the question of how tall the Phase 4 buildings might be. Add your opinions to whichever section seems most appropriate.
You need to be a member of Woodberry Down Residents' Associations to add comments!
