What events should we be holding?

Resident-led, community-building events coming soon. Let us have your ideas.

 

R&R have, within their existing management fee, a budget to spend on community building events. This budget is not yet being spent (partly due to the Pandemic). What community building events would you like to see for Park Collection residents? And when would you like them to be run? We have been thinking of proposing a spring and a summer 'party' of some kind. Please let us have your ideas. It's up to us all to make these events successful.

PLEASE COME to the Redmond Community Centre on Thursday at 1800 to make your views known to the police and local councillors. We need to know what their plan is to prevent the increase of crime and to put a stop to the nuisances that are disturbing our lives.

 

I have been told (on WhatsApp) thet there will be a meeting with the Safer Neighbourhoods Team in the Redmond Community Centre at 6 o'clok on Thursday, though this does not appear on the SNT website

The wording above in italics is taken from a WhatsApp conversation in which there are suggestions of repeated anti-social behaviour, that "kids threw some rocks from the top of this building (The one that faces The Parkhouse, not sure its name)", "sell/take drugs openly, keep dangerous dogs and let them crap everywhere, throw stones from the roof, and now worse."

I have also seen reports of a shooting by the New River, and of a stabbing.
