If you live on the Woodberry Down Estate you probably know that you live in Hackney, which is a London Borough. The borough is divided in to wards, and each ward elects councillors to administer council services in Hackney.
Conveniently enough the Woodberry Down Estate is in Woodberry Down ward.
The two councillors for Woodberry Down, Caroline Selman and Sarah Young, have sent a note to the Residents' Associations setting out their contact details and surgery times.
Hackney produces a fair amount of information about its wards. The image below is a screenshot of a map they provide showing all Hackney wards. I've coloured Woodberry Down yellow. You can see the original map here.
There is also a ward profile, based on the 2021 census, providing a snapshot of various factors including age, religion, ethnic background, family make up and deprivation. You can see it here. The author of the profile is Hackney's Policy & Strategic Delivery Team and it dates from April 2023.
