I've just had the notes from a meeting this forum held on 22nd November, so I've looked up what it all means.
I know what a Neighbourhood Forum is. Wikipedia gives a good definition.
"Neighbourhood Forums are a construct of Local government in England and are defined in the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 as a body that organises the production of a neighbourhood plan."
And I think I know what the Woodberry Wetlands are. It's the East Reservoir nature reserve where the reed beds have been planted, where the wild birds are encouraged, and where people are not allowed to go jogging, as defined by the London Wildlife Trust
But this appears to be neither of those things.
The defined area can be found on the City and Hackney Neighbourhood's website. It specifically excludes the wetlands, extends into Brownswood and tags on a bit extra just the other side of Clissold Park. Which for parliamentary purposes is soon to become part of Tottenham.
And it has nothing to do with planning:
"Neighbourhood Forum meetings
Neighbourhood Forum meetings are an opportunity for voluntary and community sector organisations in that Neighbourhood to come together with public sector and residents."
